Accessible Partner
Hanes Australasia is committed to partnerships with organisations that share this commitment.
We will do this by:
• Developing and implementing Domestic Procurement Guidelines • Partnering with significant suppliers in improving shared access and inclusion standards • Deepening engagement with leading suppliers. • Continuing to partner with Australian Disability Network to grow our impact across the Australian business community |
In-house Barista Program
Hanes have formed a partnership with Disability Employment Services Providers, in line with our commitment to diversity and inclusivity, specifically with people who have a disability and aligned with our Accessibility Action Plan. This partnership involves a barista employment initiative, for people living with a disability, including autism or intellectual disability.
We launched the initiative in our Burwood office in 2021 and currently have in-house baristas on site in both our Kew & Pyrmont Support offices. These baristas make coffee for our staff three days a week and have quickly become part of our Hanes family!
Team members can make a donation when ordering their coffee and those funds are donated or re-invested in our access & inclusion initiatives for people living with disability.
Australian Disability Network
The Australian Disability Network (ADN) brings together
the experience and knowledge of hundreds of Australia’s leading organisations who include peoplewith disability as their team members and customers. The power of their member network, coupled with the services and tools provided, givemembers everythingneeded to become an accessible and disability-confident business.
Hanes joined ADN as a Gold Member in 2020, and we continue to work with our Relationship Manager on implementing our Accessibility Action Plan.

Pace Mentorship Program
Hanes participated in the PACE Mentorship program from April to August 2023 and is again participating in the Autumn 2024 program. Positive Action towards Career Engagement (PACE) connects jobseekers with disability (Mentees) to leaders within Australian business, who act as Mentors.
The program is exclusively available to members of the Australian Disability Network (ADN) and is mutually beneficial to both mentors and mentees. Hanes team members act as mentors, who develop their leadership skills and disability confidence. Job seekers living with disability (Mentees) gain vital workplace experience, develop skills and expand their networks.
